Style and detail is what catches your eye in an outfit. Pockets, stitching, lining, is it machine washable, will it shrink, what size do you need, what colors are available, does it have a zipper or buttons, what are the cuffs made of and, of course, what are the washing instructions. Detail is what Knapp Time Clothes are about. With over 30 years of sewing experience, we strive to equal or match the detail used in designer clothing.

Our outfits are washed twice before you even see them. The first washing is to shrink the material and the second washing takes place after the outfit is complete to ensure that the seams are tight with no loose threads, no puckering of embroidery designs, colorfast, no pilling, zipper and/or buttons work well, how did the trim used hold up in the second washing, and did the outfit dry well with no ironing needed. The fabric used by Knapp Time Clothes meet all of the above requirements. If it didn’t fall apart in our washing machine, it won’t fall apart in yours.

The fleece used is anti-pill; the denim used is washed six times to ensure against bleeding; the micro plush fleece won’t mat or pill; the micro soft fleece retains its smooth surface feel; the linings used don’t need ironing. The baby buntings and reversible baby blankets are soft against your child’s skin with no scratchy satin edges, all seams finished and sewn flat where it counts, like necklines, inside hoods and cuffs.

The embroidery designs used in Knapp Time Clothes are backed with heavy weight stabilizers so they won’t pucker after washing, are colorfast, trimmed where possible without cutting the threads holding the design together, and yet, soft against the skin. Pockets are first hand sewn to the outfit and then machine stitched. Zippers have invisible sewing lines on the outside of the outfit, with invisible sewing where needed. No fear of leaving a jacket open only to have the facing moving around. If the outfit you have chosen has our double knit seamless cuffs on it, you can be assured that there will be no irritation on your skin and no seams showing at the edge of your cuff which makes your outfit very neat looking at all times. The only elastic used in our waistbands are non-roll. Sometimes an outfit needs a handsewn hem either on the sleeves or bottom hem in order to keep the neat appearance of the outfit. We take the time to hand sew these hems.
